WERNERFELT is a member of UN's global compact, and as such our code of conduct is based upon the 10 principles defined by global compact - concerning Human Rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

We believe that it is an important and vital task for our business to contribute in solving impacts through clearly defined policies, based upon a good balance between economy, sustainability and social responsibility.

Corporate Social Responsibility is a priority for WERNERFELT and we are taking the necessary measures to ensure that the social, ethnical and environmental impacts associated with our business are reduced and documentated throughout our entire operations.

Our policy regarding suppliers and subcontractors is to work with partners who run their business within the code of conduct. We monitor our supply chain with regular visits and requested documentation to ensure that they do not violate human rights, labor conditions, environmental legal requirements and anti-corruption.

We have also prepared an environmental requirement document relating to the supply chain where we require that all our suppliers, as a minimum, comply with legal requirements concerning environmental issues that are imposed in the country of origin - as well as in the European Union. At WERNERFELT we encourage all of our suppliers to go beyond these legal requirements.

At WERNERFELT we require that all of our suppliers respect and adhere to the 10 principles by showing compliance to our code of conduct and requirements that we communicate to them.
